busted esx. help (or schematics) needed

Hello!
I am reviving this thread by purpose as I have the same problem and there still seems to be no solution?
Empty display and step-key 16 blinking.

The blinking step-key 16 means there was an error booting the OS!
I solved the problem by making a firmware update. I posted the instructions in my thread (look in the previous post).
