There is a bigger change that you will break you're equipment if you really don't know what you are doing.

and the memory chip is small, with VERY little terminals, and lots of them. Even if you can solder very well it would still be a pain in the ass. I wouldn't do it

OOOOOOOOOOOOOH I'd really love to change the colors of my lights and the screen display. Anybody know where I can get the bulbs, what they're referred to as (part #???) etc.??? Or somebody I can just pay to do it even?
