Vadim, I think you give up too easily!! I was always under the impression that if you ship an electronic item in its original box with all the original packing, then that is suffiecient. Although UPS probably doesnt want to pay you because of high cost. Also if they accepted it for shipping then I believe legally they are obligated to pay insurance if they damage it. I never use a UPS Store as they are total morons and charge about 50% more than the actual shipping cost and do absolutely nothing. I always take my items in person to the actual UPS customer counter. I would search Google for "UPS Damage Claims".

I am not sure Vadim shipped the OASYS in a factory box with factory packaging. If he did, he definitely should pursue action against UPS.sparkie wrote:Vadim, I think you give up too easily!! You should be able to argue that any keyboard in its factory packaging, the same identical packaging that is used by the manufacturer to ship all the way from Japan to the U.S., from Korg USA to the retailer, and from the retailer to the buyer, SHOULD be able to be shipped successfully by UPS.
I would suggest contacting a lawyer.
