That´s a feature from XMS1 only.

With organ legends we have some "old machine" drumstyles like Werimatic and so on.

Hi Kjeld,

that´s our new actual bundle prices.
Even that the XMS1 costs not 549€ anymore - it´s now 499€ and so on....

Bundles with XMS1 and XMS2 or XMS4 you´ll get 50€ less.

Yes, but then you´ll get a key sounds better and have more sounds and styles than every other. You don´t have to buy a new 3000€ keyboard if you can use our boards. It´s "only" 28,3% from the price (for XMS1+2) of a complete new keyboard - and from the sound and styles you´ll go to the top of available.

Try it and i´m very sure it´ll be worth for you every cent.

Wittid if i bought the XMS 1 Golden entertainer board as well as the XMS4 psino board, how many sounds would be duplicated and how how many new contemporary styles would i get. I am just wary of buying XMS1 if the pianos i like on it are on XMS4 and i would hate to spend money on a board that gives me only a handful of contemporary smooth jazz, funk styles. I have no use for waltzes sambas, fox trots, two steps etc.

Also you said in previous posts that the expansion boards have intellelligent software that makes the board operate better in terms of how it handles gm sounds, midi files etc. does this apply to all the boards or just XMS1 and can you list again what these additional functions are ?

Cheers. You already no i am def going to buy one or the other or both.

hi worth,

the software update for xms1 is totally new (yesterday) and so i´ve to create the exactly list the next days.

there are a lot of modern styles we deliver with XMS1 (and only XMS1).
All the factory styles are reworked. If you pay 5€ for each style we give for free than the price of the board is out (means a lot of styles - i think more than 100 new styles in top quality). The funktions we´re implemented are hard to explain - in main it´s a function that the key has an intelligence to regognize which kind of file you wanna feed him and then if you input a xg-file - the key will automatically choose a XG-Drumkit.

Look there for product sheets:
XMS1 - http://pa1xpro.de/xpro-data-Information ... -1_eng.jpg (it´s a little more now with the new BKP-Version - the manual was from 2.54 - now we have 3.07 - the new one is coming next days)
XMS2 - http://pa1xpro.de/xpro-data-Information ... -2_eng.jpg
XMS4 - http://pa1xpro.de/xpro-data-Information ... -4_eng.jpg

For myself i´m very happy with the pianos of XMS1 and i´m not sure if you need both. i think XMS1 (this is the basic of our fantastic sound) should be your choice.

If that´s not enough piano for you you can order XMS4 later and i guarantee you you´ll get the bundle price at your 2nd order. (only the shipping costs is then 2 times).

Hope that helps

Detlef,
I am also interested in these boards. I have a couple of questions I hope you can answer.
1) Your statement that XMS-1 board needs 32mb Ram. This is curious because I thought the way an expansion board works is via SSD (always available) memory. Does this mean there is a loading time involved with the first board??
2) My second question is much the same as worths - in a nutshell is the piano sound on XMS-4 better than the one on XMS-1?
3) Does XMS-1 REPLACE permenently the factory styles and sounds or are they still available if required?
Sorry to trouble you with all these but I just gotta know!!!
Best regards,
John

Hi Reuben,

no problem - that´s my job to give you the informations you need.

OK let me explain a little more i think.

1. XMS-1 (the hardware itself) has:
- 319 drum/percussion & effekt sounds
- 57 Multisamples
- 256 Sounds
- 64 Drumkits

For this XMS-1 - there is a Software too (you can use the hardware as a stand alone - no question). In this software (that´s why you need 32MB) is:

- 87 new multisamples
- more than 150 new sounds
- 128 new User-Drumkits
- mor ethan 200 additional styles

so in main you have to add all this feature and that´s what you get with the whole package.

The factory styles are totally reworked (the original BKP from Korg has a lot of problems with volume steps and agility (in our mind)).
With the implenentation of our BKP you get an intelligence in this keyboard.
If you play midifiles the key will for example recognize that this is an XG-File and will select an XG-Drumset.

It´s a permanent change so that means you have this new much better sounds available in Styles, files, pads and all the other things.

2. The XMS-4 has sure much better piano sounds than XMS-1.
Mr. Dee said: "the XMS4 piano is more a real grand piano and is programmer more comprehensive - 3 Stereo Layer!
the xms1 piano is more popmusik, sound brilliant anyway "
About poly problem - Mr. Dee has this problem always in his eyes.

XMS-4 is a pure hardware solution - means you don´t have to load any software - you can plug the module in and get directly access to the sounds (this you can do for XMS-1 and XMS-2 also, but there i prefer to load some performances or other software)

3. if you implement our software (which you should do) it´s a permanent change - sounds will re-directed to the new ones and you´ll get this new amazing fat sound in all the styles, midifiles and pads.

If you´ve any further questions - come back 2 me please.

cuall
Detlef

additional Info: this Weekend i plan to do some more demos - for example "Hotel California" - we´ve the original "Deep Tom" (from the spanish version) inside our new BKP and i wanna give you some more material to listen :-)

Hi Detlef,

I really hope that you will make your sounds available for the PA2 X Pro (maybe as CDs) because I really loved them, especially the Organs and the Electric Pianos. This way you should be able also to reduce the prices, given the different support.
Speaking of prices, please consider that today you can buy a Hammond XK-1 for about 1150 euros... 8)
