Here is a link to a video on Dropbox - hope that explains it better:

The issue is that when I have created ALL four of the sets and then save them, they do not re-load as saved!!

It's not confusing at all!
I had to watch your video 5 times! to see if we really don't get it.

But we all do know what we are talking about. The issue is that you don't understand the concept of a keyboard set. It's exactly as explained multiple times now in the two threads you created.

So let me repeat myself for the third time.
A selected keyboard set has NOTHING to do with the four elements at the bottom of your style. Those four items are four SEPARATE keyboard sets that are saved in the style.

The keyboard set that you select changes the four sounds in the next tab called KEYS.

A keyboard set is NOT a selection of four keyboard sets in the style, it's a selection of four sounds that you can play in the upper and lower parts.

The style to keyboard sets button means that automatically your keyboard set is loaded which is in SLOT 1 for the keyboard sets in that style when you select a new style. (it's also available as a preference in the settings)

There is nothing wrong with your pa5x, it works exactly as it is intended to work.

I have understood exactly of what he meant Qui and have explained in my previous post ... I believe we did our best !
This is weird independent feature IMO and could be added in Pa5X wish list.

Umm, no it doesn't. well, not in the way you mean anyway. The only one that loads is the first one as I have explained to you before!!

Do I need to do another video for you to get that? A saved keyboard set should load EXACTLY as saved, it does not. End of story!

Look, we are talking about two different things here! So move on.

The OP was " didn't work as expected" not "Didn't work"

No problem,

I respect your opinion.

We are looking at your problem in a very different way. I wish you all the best with your journey on the pa5x.

Thanks Qui - as I wrote, I can do what I need, just in a more convoluted way and not as I thought :)

All g, once I build up a library of these it will all be easy.

I probably use the PA5 in a way that is different to most. Approx 98% of all the songs I play at gigs, I play left hand bass lines...so I need a slightly more unique way of using it.

I think I had the same issue on the Pa4x. I would change all 4 keyboard sets and save them to a style and only one would change. I found that I had to do one at a time and save the style four times. It was so much trouble, I just saved the keyboard sets in the factory keyboard set category sets (taking the protect lock off). I would do this in each category and create a kind of favorites list. There is always a work around. I don't regard it as a bug (I still own the Pa4x), just the way things work. I've never had Korg add any feature I've suggested over the years so I wouldn't hold my breath (and my suggestions were simple things).

So, now we have the favorite buttons, and that works for me. I also like the songbook for saving styles seeing we can't change the factory ones and there aren't any style category buttons. I haven't tried to save keyboard sets to the four keyboard set buttons for styles yet. I will have to try it to see if anything changed.

Design-Flaws, are classed as:
Anti-methodical & Counterintuitive........... They Dont make Sense ?

Dispite Merchants claming : "This is the way its Always been"

The Re-configuring of the pa5x Vocoder-Route, is a Prime example
So maby This ....recent "Keyboard -set-save", is another .
