I am currently working on the Cakewalk .ins file for the pa5x...this can be read by Reaper natively.

I've worked also on a ins.file, but now i reached the end of my knowing

Connect your PA5X to Cubase for recording, not just for live shows. The trick is to set it up right in Cubase as a MIDI controller or for recording sounds. Many folks use gear like the PA5X in the studio and on stage.

I use it myself, and it's got some cool Cubase 13 DAW software enhancements that could help you. This Channel Tab lets you mix easily because everything you need for a track is right there. They made the MixConsole look neater and added neat things to it. Also, editing MIDI is easier with the new Range Tool in the Key Editor. There are fantastic new tools for working with vocals, like a new vocoder plugin and some EQ plugins.
