For me the photo looks real. Why someone would give us fake photo?

Definitely looks more like a real thing, not a fake.. I would say 90% chance that it's a real leak. It's not an iphone or something hugely popular... what a crazy idea to photoshop "a new" pa casing? ..just to fool a couple of hundreds of people around the world?? nah..

Other than going to a plastic case (no thanks), I don't know how a Pa could be made lighter. There's not a lot inside, really.

If we are talking about a 76 version, there are at least two (proper) options:
1) 61 note version
2)desktop module

Of cause, I didn't mean to make a new 61 version lighter than the current pa4x-61

Who knows? It may be real but take a look back at all the "next model" rumours we've had since the PA1X.
This has not come from Korg so I am just ignoring it.

Hi Pete,
Totaly agree that fakes were popping up all the time, but at the same time, most of the fake videos were simple photoshop jobs, which can be done by a kid. That includes the youtube video you just mentioned.
The subject photo is very difficult to "make up", and I have never seen fakes of that level in the keyboard/synths world.
Also, the fact the video was removed, probably means Korg got in touch with youtube and asked them to remove it. The video you mentioned is still there - because the majority do understand it's a fake, and it is a fake.
Did anybody have a chance to see the video from the topic-starter's link? Could you please describe what was there?

This removed video presented static photo, you can see attached to this topic without any details. It lasted about 2 minutes.
In the comment there was indication, that photo comes from the Factory. The author suggested releasing during the Easter.

Because if thats true, that would make my comment obviously out of order

However, we are 5 months further down the road and absolutely nothing has changed.. we all know the pa5x will get a replacement, but we have no clue when and what?

I think the picture of the metal base plate is the only thing in this post worth discussing. As i think that the picture might be legit and shows a lot of things..

Also the runor about the name PA4x vs PA-W(nunber). Is interesting as the W might indicate workstation.. but there is no proof for this..

When i look at the picture there is quite a lot of interesting things going on…

Now you're really confused!

That means out of 4000 plus people who viewed this thread, at least half clicked on that YouTube link I posted and within 1 second into the video they realized 'my post' was a joke which is why nobody else besides you took it seriously. Also anyone who's been around here for a year or two knows that every year these type of phony videos pop up on YouTube all the time.

That metal frame thing means nothing to me. I have no idea what that is.
