id really like to hear that track wihtout all the delay on the drums, which, if im honest, find pretty annoying ( i dunno if it is delay but thast what it sound like to me)
but listening beneath the delay i can pick out some phat beats and nice squidgy synths

i do love SC......but i havent heard that track until i went to itunes just now.
only thing that sucks about the emx is i cant have harder drums. the snare and pulse bass are nice. but i need a real skull crusher bass to come in. oh well i guess it keeps it dancier....is that a real word?

Check out the EMX preset "ER 1" and play with synth parts 1 and 2.
The synth parts on the EMX can make some serious drums. Right up there with the TR 909 kick

You can probably do a kick like that on the EMX 1 if you process it through a decent reverb. The reverb on the EMX 1 leaves a lot to be desired.
He layers the kick up with the bass in places, in that track, so this might be a good place to start
