I'll probably feel stupid when I find out...
You are not the only one not knowing what is so special about 420.

From Wikipedia:
420, 4:20 or 4/20 (pronounced four-twenty) refers to consumption of cannabis and, by extension, a way to identify oneself with cannabis subculture. The notable day for these is April 20.[1] (Not to be confused with J-Day, an international protest held on the first Saturday of May.) :3dread:
Latest Set Up: Kronos 61, Casio Privia, Korg TR61, EoWave Ribbon, Roli Rise 48, TEC Breath Controller, StudioLogic MP-117 Bass Pedals, Moog Theremini.
Past Instruments of Construction: Hammond A100 w/Leslie 760, Korg R3, Roland AxSynth, Korg Poly61, Korg M1, Univox MaxiKorg, Korg MS2000, (2) Moog Concertmate MG1, (2) Hammond X5, Rhodes Mark I & 2, Farfisa Compact, Yamaha S08, Casio SK1, Strymon Mobius, Custom Bass Pedals, Burns B3 Theremin.

And while I used to identify with that subculture, for the record I'm a responsible taxpaying family guy now. :)

Looking at the rate of delivery I think I am going to order to get a 61 with serial 1000 ... or maybe even 2000.

Thanks for the explanation! A very specific American cultural reference, so I don't feel too bad ;)

what's your serial #?

Post by Alexia »

I've been waiting for an under 50lb weighted 73 of this quality for a LONG time. I kept being told there was no market for it. We'll see. I bought the first one I saw 2 weeks ago.

# 198

I'm thrilled beyond belief and I assume, done buying pianos for a long time... (famous last words :-)
