+1
Well stated, Naviára
At least I'm still for a (paid) Kronos OS Software update for existing O customers.... (since the specifications are the same - even the polephony count)

I'm so used to the m3 pads that I can't imagine a synth without them, specially in live situation. It's shame...

Shakil wrote:I love the KRONOS specifications!!! It's an amazing instrument... It does look like a revised OASYS... But, I would warn people of hidden limits with these many options.

I also hope that the sequencer is much more improved from the OASYS sequencer.

I also hope that KORG has finally added the following:
-Ability to change tracks for recording in loop mode,
-rehearsal mode during recording to temporarily disable recording (allows you to try different phrases while the sequencer is looping).....
-Ability to edit drum kits from sequencer mode to allow minor tweaks for a key, rather than needing to jump to Global and having to create a custom kit just because I want the snare to have a little more reverb on a kit...

Other than that.................... congratulations to KORG
Wow this is the exact synth I showed you guy early an I was attacked. WOW

Judging from that video and the specs, this thing is going to be expensive!!!

Hedegaard wrote:Yes, I do agree, the Kronos does look good and cosmic!
However, no clear labeling of sliders e.t.c. will make it harder to play, especially on stage e.t.c.

The specs on KARMA say "greatly-enhanced second generation" so it looks like they decided against v3.0.

And as long as I'm here I might as well add that I want the 73 key version semi weighted, not RH3.

Want Want Want...

Did you see how many people got a handsone and they all ket the secret...

There where some very nice visualls on the screen... Espescially the piano part..

Sadly only 2 audio channels over USB to and from the PC, limits you in running the Korg sounds through some VST effects.. Wondering how good this beast is in controlling my Ableton live setup on stage...

Next to that they say its an upgraded KArma 2..... Motif has Karma 3... Need to see how that works out, can't wayt to see some demo's live from NAMM...
