Nautilus 73/76 AT?!!!

Post by Vitus61 »

After a long time, I greet all fans of Korg synths. My question to you is - is there a way to get a Korg Nautilus 73/76 with aftertouch in the E-E (E-G) range?
Some time ago I sent this question directly to Korg, I got a simple NO answer, because Korg does not have 73 keys with AT. Do you know why? Just look at Nord, Roland or Studiologic (Fatar)... Even if I would prefer a waterfall keyboard with 76 keys, I would be happy with a semiweighted 73 keyboard, but in the E-E range. On the current Nautilus 73, I am bothered by the keyboard shift to the C-C range instead of E-G (or E-E) and the missing aftertouch.
And one more question - isn't Korg preparing at least something like the Korg Kronos LS (light 88 keyboard) for the Nautilus, but with AT?
(I have Krome EX73 - terrible C-C, Nautilus 61AT, Kronos 2 61AT)

I don't think Korg is going to change anything on the keybeds here.... get the better Kronos 3 61 anyway....
Modartt Pianoteq 9, Kronos 2-88 & X73, Tina Guo Acoustic Cello Legato, Spitfire Albion V Tundra, BBCO Core, Nylon Guitar Ilya Efimov, Xtant Audio Uilleann Pipes, Kurzweil MicroPiano - in use

If stepping up to the Kronos platform is doable, the K3 (73 keys) is E->E and has AT. Of course, it has a higher price tag than the Nautilus 73 sans AT. 🤑

Yes, thank you for your response, the price is not decisive. Kronos 73 is OK, but with a hammer key action... :(

I'll admit to being a bit out of the loop as it pertains to the smaller iterations of the Kronos & Nautilus keyboards. I have access to the 88 key versions of the K3 and NAT but have never seen or touched the 61 & 73 key variations. 😐
