LS88 contact strip replacements

Post by rmdrent »

My LS88 had a new keybed installed back in 2021 by Korg under warranty after being plagued with the “sinking key” issues that was common with the LS model.
I’ve had my keyboard open several times since then to adjust/clean some contact strips that were malfunctioning over the years but now thinking of just replacing all of them. Has anyone else done that, and any problems? I’m assuming I can just order the strips from Syntaur or similar shop?
Thanks🤙

That is quite easy to do without problems, just make sure to choose the right type of contacts. For my K2-88 the right contacts are pink and I bought them directly from Korg, but they could be different for your LS model.
