Assigning 1 Foot Pedal to several functions

I want to assign my Foot Pedal to several functions like eg

Expression on the CX 3
Ribbon Control function for a dance sound.

I have set in GLOBAL CC004.
But what after this?

It you have your pedal set to cc 04 in Global, then you just need to select it as an AMS source of the parameters you want to control for individual programs.

So when i have a combi i need to don this program by program?

Yes, the foot pedal will do the same thing in Program mode and Combi mode (unless you disable it via MIDI filter). So you’ll need to assign it to modulate something in each program you want it to affect.
