Is there any risk to try free oscillators like those

Generally speaking is there any risk to test an unknown oscillator ?

The risk I see with anything free - is that potential threat that if any software involved to install etc could be malicious and full of viruses.

If there is a zipfile, and just some file format that Korg products can handle - it should be risk free.

Anything free with EXE installers etc I always avoid, since I never used anti virus software since beginning of pc times - which is 1985 for me.

I can recomend updating the oscillators again - pretty awesome new features on all of them in v1.5.

An LFO built into each oscillator as well. So all 6 parameters are used on all now as I recall - as well as more destinations for LFO 1 and built in LFO2 as well.

FWIW, I've built versions that replace the LFO2 with an Envelope Generator or Key Tracking.
