Recording

Can you please a beginner
I have a new 4x! I am trying to select a style and play a solo song, how could I record but still be able to have the normal screen on to change sounds and Scales. I have tried recording but I couldn't come out the recording screen to change sounds, scales and intros etc
I hope you can help

Just press "EXIT" and then control the keyboard however you wish etc... - the MP3 recording will continue and you'll see a red icon showing you that it is still recording.

Hi Pete,

Thank you very much for your response, I did enisialy but the screen is frozen on the record page. I did refer to the manual but couldn't find the instruction

I some times enjoy playing Arabic music thus the need to change Arabic scales, this is why I need the scales page to anabale me to change when playing a song

I currently updated to the last OS, could this be the reason to why I can't come out of the record page?

Pete would it be possible please that you send me a step by step just so that I am doing this right
