follow up on amplification

after posting & asking about what amp to get i just wanted to let everyone in on what i did ...i went with the mackies thump 12 (space station & bass cabinet outta my price range) & a small yamaha mixer ..everything was less than $500.00 & the sound is killer complete stereo separation , plenty of bass & a lot of power .only have the volume up to 3 ,,, the mackies are only 20 lbs apiece , easy set up to ....also wanted to say thank you to everyone who offered advice ...that was sooooo useful in helping me look for just the right amp ...everyone on this site are just wonderful knowledgeable people so willing to help others ,,,thank you so very much..
