Hello all,
I am trying to sell my PA900.
But is confused about what is a reasonable price to set for the 900.
What do you think is a good price to set for a like new PA900?
it is never gigged , never left home. has original accessories and the box etc.
regards
what is an appropriate price for a like new used PA900?

I don't know anything about music. In my line you don't have to -- Elvis Presley.

Hi Songbird,
I am from the London in the U.K.
The Korg PA900 is a fantastic keyboard with so much in it, but unfortunately does not seem to be a popular keyboard here in the U.K. The Korg PA600 seems to be a much more popular keyboard for users, despite it having less than the 900. I bought my PA900 second hand (in excellent home use only condition) for £600 ($800 U.S.). The gentleman I bought it from had been trying to sell it for nearly 12 months, and had gradually reduced the price until I purchased it earlier this year. About a month ago I also bought a PA4X, but will not sell the PA900 as it has built in speakers, and I genuinely think it is an amazing keyboard. The only fault I can find with it, is the quality of the keybed (the black and white notes). I don't think it is up to the quality of the rest of the keyboard, which is surprising as originally it was not a cheap keyboard to buy.
If it was me, I would advertise on something like Gumtree (don't know if you have that in the U.S.) rather than Ebay (too many fees), Korg Forums have a for sale section, and also google Keyboard Corner (which is a very active mostly U.S. Forum).
I would put it around $1,100 U.S. allowing you a bit of movement if required. I would also suggest loading Dopamine's amazing 2.6 set for the PA900, which literally transforms the keyboard. Be careful though, you might end up wanting to keep it once you try his set out. Also try and source some of Anthony Scharman's free Steinway piano samples.
P.M. me if you cannot find them.
Nemik is another guy who might help you with good advice.
Good luck
Chris

Thank you Chris. I am finding what you are saying from personal experience.
I thought 1300 is a good price for a 2K keyboard. However its been 2 weeks and no interest so far from anyeone. so I am kind of confused!
I will put in in crags list and see what happens.
thanks again.
