Style Elements' Length

Post by Roy.hewa »

I am trying to find the length of each style element in Bars. For example intro 3 is 1 bar long, Ending 3 is 1 bar long etc.

Could not find anything in the reference.

Is it the same in all the styles or does it change from style to style?

Thanks guys.

Generally speaking, Intro and Ending 3 are the 'quick' entry and 'fast' exit so they would be 1 bar each ... You can load a style into the Style Editor to inspect the elements.

Read your Manual, starting on page 33.
Each element can be up to 32 measures(bars) long.
It depends on the style.
Usually Intro 3/Ending 3 is 1 bar long. That does not mean it has to be this way.
You can make a style where Intro 3/Ending 3 is more than 1 bar long.
If you want to know the length of each style you play, Thoraldus is correct. Inspect the style in Style Record/Edit mode.
Hope that helps.
The only stupid questions are the questions that have not been asked.

I wanted to try exporting a style as midi then examining it on the computer.

I think that would be the way to really see what a style is doing.

Just haven't had the time to mess with it.

On my list.

I gave it a try, styles are complex!

Bunch of CC's sent out at each marker.

But you could definitely see how long each section is.

Get on a style you want then hit the record button then hit menu and get to export. Hold shift down and save it to a flash drive. Open it up in Cubase or whatever.

Watched a video about importing that helped:
