Hello I recently ordered a PA3X and wondered that since there is no built in speakers if I should buy some? if Not What is the sound like w/o speakers?

you wouldn't be able to hear anything. :) Either you can use a head phone, or something like shown below. I use a pair of that.

i bought it initially and returned it couple of days later. It's sound is colored. You wouldn't get the original sound because it's bass and trouble are enhanced using hardware. Moreover it's a single speaker powered one. Meaning, only one of the speaker is powered. the other speaker is connected to same amplifier. I found that it's good for listening music - not for musical instruments.

Can you recommend decent enough speakers for under 100 dollars please?
I'm on a tight budget since I just spent about 2500 on the korg pa3x please aha

i'm sorry about that - i haven't seen anything under $100 which is good.
please wait for others to comment. There must be something that different people are using.

yes this should be. This is the older version. I found these models are affordable and sounding good to my ears. You could go to any guitar center or Sam ash for a live demo.

Note - the price you are seeing is for a single piece. Also, wait for others to comment. so that you would get a better understanding.

oh just noticed you are located in UK - try any music instrumental shops there for a demo, before you buy.

cheapest way to buy speakers for korg pa3x... buy pc speakers and use headphone output with 1/4 male to 1/8 female stereo adapter. :lol:

those will work, maybe not super quality, but price is ok.
Also you can record audio from them directly to PC using USB connection.
