programs lose effects when used in a combination?

When I create a combination using different sound programs I have noticed it loses the effects attached to it, is this normal or am I doing something wrong

yes that's normal, you have 12 insert effects and a couple of master effects that you have to share between all the sounds in your combi.

in the 6th minute in this video the ifx copy system is explained for combis.

but instead of selecting a Programm within a combi by using the Timbres selection, try the menu and use Copy Programm to Combi (or Timbre, I am not sure), doing that you can also copy the wanted Effects
She told me it was either her or the Kronos! I'm going to miss her...
