Sequencing the kingkorg in Maschine

I put a MIDI out module on a sound(track) and put a USB to the korg, and put it to MIDI USB in the settings. The notes I play on the korg are recorded in the piano roll, but on playback it does not have any sound from the synth. I think I'm missing something?

I have no problem playing a Massive synth in Maschine on the kk. But seems like its not receiving the MIDI out from Maschine. Shouldn't the kk be playing the sequence recorded with it?

So I think I figured out that the kk is not receiving midi in Maschine or Live. I went into the Maschine audio and midi settings, and the kk is there as an option to turn midi out on and off. But I can only select off. Same in Live, it only shows the kk outputs but I can't use them(there are two in both daws.)

Is there something I need to do in Maschine or the kk settings to enable it?

Nvm, I got it working! After a bunch of messing around I gave up... Then when I went to try again, I plugged in the USB and suddenly the "installing device software" message appeared. Why this didn't happen the first few times, I don't know. But then all of a sudden I could choose "on" for midi out in Maschine and the few notes that I threw in a pattern came to life...splendid!
