M50-73 as Master Midi Controller?

Post by engineerjoel »

Is it possible to zone External midi modules within a COMBI and store these settings in a COMBI?

I have several external midi modules that I'd like to Layer/split as part of Combi's?

My Yamaha S80 has a Master Keyboard mode that allows you to divide the keyboard into several key ranges and assign separate Midi transmit channels to control split/layers/patch patches/volume etc...of both internal tone generator and external MIDI modules.

Is this possible with the M50?

thanks,

Yes ... Set the midi channel on page P3:Timbre Param , MIDI tabs. See page 95 in the Parameter Guide for more info.
