Default FX state
In a Combi I've set the rotary speaker fx to be toggled with the joystick. It works fine except that the initial state when the Combi is called up is that the fx is off. I'd like the fx to be on when I call up the Combi. Is there a way to do that?

It should be as easy as turning on the effect (JS toggle) and saving it while the effect is on. Doing that is supposed to save everything in the current sound -- that's how we tweakers tweak stuff and have it when we go back again.
Initial status may also be a check box on the Rotary IFX.

From a quick read of the parameter guide...
First parameter of rotary speaker IFX seems to be a MODE SELECT that will set up the effect either as ROTATING (Active) or STOP (Duh... not spinning).
That would seem to be the on/off switch for the whole thing -- and that may/should also be where you'll see the JS+Y/Toggle AMS if that helps.

When STOP is selected, the speaker won't rotate - even when the toggle is applied. My guess is its a specific eq to make it sound as though the organ is being played through a stopped Leslie.
You were right though (of course). If the Combi is saved while the speaker is rotating, it will be rotating when the Combi is called up.
What threw me was I had set the speed to SLOW - thinking that when I toggled the joystick the speaker would go from STOP to SLOW. [Also thinking that if I set the speed to FAST and toggled the switch it would go from STOP to FAST.] That is not what happens. When set to SLOW the speaker rotates (slowly) when its toggled "Off" and rotates FAST when its toggled on.
