I am still strongly thinking about a microStation (though the Kross has me thinking too)
I wonder if owners could tell me how smooth program or combi changes are.
So for instance, if you are playing and hold the pedal down with say...piano and strings sustaining. If you then change programs does the sustaining piano strings stop abruptly, or does it carry on until you play a new note which will be with the new program?
My sp250 for example, will sustain the first sound after changing until a new note is played. However it only works with single sounds...say piano changing to organ.
If you layer sounds, one of the layers will abruptly stop once a program change occurs.
Smooth Program changing?

I'm afraid it won't work that way. Korg workstations are known for resetting the effects after program change, and thus it interrupts the sound feed. Only the Kronos breaks that rule with its new technology, but the rest AFAIK are the same.
