OK, I see where it says EXi inside a blue rectangle just above the numbers of the 16 tracks in sequencer mode, then to the right of that it says U-B075: Bright Saw Lead. I'm not sure if this is the saw I will use or not. All the saw leads will probably use the same synth engine though right?

OK, that one uses AL-1. I looked at it and found several places where velocity is affecting volume and filter.

Go into EX1==>AMP/DRIVER==>AMP MOD and change VELOCITY INTENSITY to 0 and EXPONENTIAL VELOCITY to 0.

Go to FILTER and goto FILTER MOD and change everything that says Velocity or exponential velocity to zero. This assumes you don't want velocity to affect the filter.

That should get you pretty close.

Thank you so much, that helped a lot. The voice is now playing at a constant volume no matter how hard I hit the keys. The only problem now is that the voice lost its "saw-ness" lol. When I changed the filter mod setting it caused the voice to play at a constant level, but it is quite a low level. It sounds more like a sine wave than a saw now. The tone is much more smooth instead of having the tonal fluctuations characteristic of a normal saw wave. Any ideas on how to get it to sound more like a saw?

Simple way without going into the parameters. Make sure the RT KNOBS/KARMA button is lit on the left side of the panel (it should be by default). Move the first knob (PAN/CUTOFF) at the top. Set to your liking. Save the program.

All right, now it's sounding at a constant volume with the type of sound I was looking for! In the process of doing this I also found some different paramaters I was looking to change. Thanks for the help everyone! Such a great forum here.
