Loading / saving songs? I don´t understand this machine

Hello and congrats for the forum.

I´m experimenting issues with saving and uploading songs.

Ok, here we go.

I saved 10 songs in my computer. 001.sng to 009.sng

1) I do a format of the SD card in my computer.
2) I do a format of the SD card in the MS
3) Copy paste song (for example) 007.sng from the computer to the SD card
4) Turn on the MS and insert the card to play the 007.sng only.

As result:

I can still play all songs in the microstation, but there is only ONE song saved in the card!

How is this possible?

Other case:

Today I make a song called "blue": blue.sng

I can see "blue.sng" in the card and in the "load" menu of the MS, but I can´t upload it. The machine redirects to another song...

I don´t understand this machine.

Did you format on microstation, as it saves stuff in a folder (have look on google should find) think automatically sets up folder sysytem if you format on microstion. Will have proper look tomorrow when at home

Thanks for your reply lostchild. Your help is much apreciated.

I´ve already read that thread but there are things that are not the same in my MS.

For example. Re-Member says:

1. Turn on the machine
2. Use the "Load All" feature to load the SEQ/SNG file before doing anything else.

Okay. But then it comes a new screen.:

Load - Select the song (strange this one in second place) - ALL SNG en then Locate: clear or Locate: Append. Which to try? I can´t find nothing about this on the manual.

I really like the MicroStation, but I´m fustrated due the Save/Upload issues.

Ok.

I discovered the following:

FIRST CASE

1) In the SD card there are now 5 different songs saved.

001.SNG
005.SNG
026.SNG
030.SNG
Life.SNG

2) In my computer, I delete:

001.SNG
005.SNG
026.SNG
Life.SNG

3) In my computer I rename 030.SNG with the name Blue.SNG

Ok. There is ONLY ONE song in the SD card now (Blue.SNG)

4) Turn on the MS. Global - Load Song - Blue.SNG - All SNG - Locate Clear.

Result:

The MS upoloads the following songs:

001.SNG
005.SNG
026.SNG
030.SNG

No trace of Blue.SNG and LIFE.SNG

SCOND CASE

1) I delete in my computer everything in the card except the song "Life.SNG"

2) Turn on the MS. Global - Load Song - Life.SNG - All SNG - Locate Clear.

3) Now the MS upload correctly the only one song located in the SD card. In this case "Life.SNG"

I don´t understand the MicroStation
