Kronos vs the Kronos X for me?

No aftertouch. That was a deal breaker for *me.* I would have preferred the Krome because I don't actually need workstation features per se: I use an external PC-based sequencer, and I don't actually need KARMA- I can play whatever I need on the keys, and have been doing so for 50 years. But the lack of aftertouch in the industry's mid-range boards (MOX8, MOX6, JP-50, M50, and Krome) is just plain ridiculous. I waited for the Krome to come out before I decided, and the no aftertouch made the answer easy. Additionally, I also really want a JP-50, but Roland ain't getting my money until they add aftertouch.

i was on KORG's site and it said something about an editor coming soon? does this mean eventually i can be USB into my mac and have a GUI editor for kroonos? if so, WOW

sorry bout that, i thought they were about the on board editor and screen

i am still remembering my floppy drive on my triton, this is all way advanced now

take your time. learning curve is steep, and the kronos 61 is the 35th keyboard i've owned... I still can't get a few things figured out.
Voyager, Slim Phatty, Yamaha EX5, Roland Fantom G, Korg Kronos, CP5, Sonar 8.5

holy cow this thing is incredible

i am amazed how much is going on

i LOVE it

i am really glad i went this route again! KORG! be back in another decade!
