(USA only) Show Us Your Kronos video contest

Post by RichF »

Hi all,

As you can tell, we've been pretty busy. :)

We've just started our "Show Us Your Kronos" contest today, which will run throughout June (open to USA residents only). In short, we'd like to see you shoot an under-5-minute video, telling/showing us what you like about your Kronos. Each Friday in June (not counting today, the 1st), we'll select our favorite video, and send the winner a free Kronos rolling hard case, in any of the three available sizes.

Details are here: www.korg.com/showusyourkronos .

Thanks very much, and good luck. We can't wait to see your videos!

Hi folks,

Just wanted to let you know that we've highlighted our first "Show Us Your Kronos" winner at www.korg.com/showusyourkronos .

I'd like to encourage all of our USA Kronos customers to shoot a quick video and email a YouTube link to korgvideo@korgusa.com. It doesn't have to be very elaborate, even a quick phone cam video will do the trick.

Thanks, and best of luck!

Hi Rich,

Is there someplace where we could view the rest of the entries ... especially if we solemnly swear not to second-guess the judges?

I enjoyed watching the week-1 winner's video, but was sort of expecting to see something a little less "dry." I'm certain that, with all the musicians' creativity inherent in Kronos users, there were other entries worth sharing.

Thanks for this great opportunity and the "X Marks The Spot" contest ... and, above all, thank you for all you do!

Best,
Fox

Hi JukeFox,

Thanks so much for the kind words. We'll be periodically highlighting some of the videos on our Facebook page, but we've asked everyone to upload videos on their own accounts, rather than submitting a video file to us... So there isn't really a one-stop shop where you can see all the entries.

You don't have to follow anyone else's example. It could be a quick, off-the-cuff, cellphone video explanation of how you use your Kronos, and why you like it. You don't need pro video equipment or lighting... You don't even need to PLAY if you don't want to. We'd much rather just hear your opinions without any pressure or preconceived expectations. We just want to hear how Kronos has helped you as a musician.

In other words, just be you. :)

Thanks,
-Rich
