KORG PA3X VIDEO TUTORIAL ON SAMPLING / SLICING

Hello Friends,

I have created a video on Sampling and Slicing Loops on Korg PA 3X and also on how to use them in styles...create styles using them.

It is in the process of upload and will post a link soon!!!

In case there are any more tutorial requests, i would be happy to assist if i could.

thank you brother, if you can tell me how to midi between two kb and send sound from pa3 to other kb.i need othor kb to use sound coming from pa3 while im using different sound on pa3 ,i put pa3 cable out and other kb in but i don't know how to do channel ,thank you for helping

Hello,

Well i have not connected the keyboards using MIDI. The Output from Korg PA3X goes into the Aux Input on Tyros 3 in my gear.

Thaaanks vikram! I dont have a pa3x but your tutorial was nice and helpful indeed. NOW thats what i call a good tutorial. why cant more users make such short but informative tutorials . Believe you guys ! Anyway vikram thanks again! we really appreciate further tutorials from you.

Why do you play manually sliced parts if you have "import groove" option in style record mode ????? :O (advanced edit manual 27.page in pdf)

I really didn't understand the import grove function and when i try to use that, something didn't seem right. The advance edit manual doesn't really explain this or may be i am unable to understand that. Since you have seen my tutorial, can you please explain in steps from where import groove function can be used, imean from which step!! it would be benficial for all of us if you can share some light on simplifying my method.!!

It is very simple:

When you done with slicing (save sliced loop in user) go to New Style,or in edit current style if you want import that loop in existing style - and only important thing (italic font in manual) is not to power off KB after slicing,otherwise you have to erase sliced loop and go to slicing process again - why? because KB remember "grooves" (sliced loops) only until shutdown .

-Style record - Import groove and in drop down menu you'll see name(s) of sliced loops - select desired loop and choose where you want to put it in a style- OK - and that is the whole procedure - go to that place when you imported groove ,select that loop from user and you''ll heard loop playing

If you want ,send me exact loop from your video ,and I'll demonstrate it to you what I wrote above- if you didn't understand .
