Can I ask why? E.g. I have two keyboards and it only can fit one.

They're friends. And I believe Frank used to help Jordan program sounds for past DT tours.

You just need a second rotating stand behind you for your other board

at least that's what Jordan does with his Continuum. He also, at one point, had a Memotron mounted above his Oasys (before the Kronos) as a second board (kind of where the Ipad is).

At first I thought you made a joke

... however I have to play both synths simultaneously and I think my arms would not be long enough. Also stage space is mostly quite limited (in our 7 but soon somewhere between 6-8 person band) playing (sometimes) in small bars.

Same here!

I don't see what makes it the ultimate stand. In most cases, you won't be able to bolt it to the floor. Even if you could, that seems like an extra step to me.

Please explain.

just because something is cool, doesn't mean that it's always the most practical. I think he was being a bit tongue-in-cheek with his "perfect" description. It works for Rudess because he can rotate it around and the hydraulics make it tilt from side to side while he's playing it. Nice visual addition to Dream Theater shows.

Sure, it's probably not very practical for the gigging bar musician, but still cool, nonetheless.
