The reason is that almost every next generation synth has a new engine which has more and different parameters and a different wave set. The result is that each new model sounds better and has more features but therefore is not backwards compatible.
However, you mostly can find similar sounds and tweak them until they are (almost) equal. Besides, why wanting the same sounds as another one? Then you could just stick with the old synth. So I would say: Use the new sounds and capabilities and explore them.

Thanks a lot!, do you think that I can edit some sound of PS60 to seem like Bx3 click or super jazz organ of x-50?michelkeijzers wrote:The reason is that almost every next generation synth has a new engine which has more and different parameters and a different wave set. To be honest, I don't know the PS60 nor the X50. I suggest you try to find a program on the PS60 that looks similar and start from there. Sorry I cannot help much more since I don't know much about the parameter and wave form set.jackies wrote:Thanks a lot!, do you think that I can edit some sound of PS60 to seem like Bx3 click or super jazz organ of x-50?michelkeijzers wrote:The reason is that almost every next generation synth has a new engine which has more and different parameters and a different wave set. organ sounds of the PS60
I think the PS60 has a couple of very good organ sounds plus the roto effect and an extra button for "organ slow/fast". Organ sounds are based on simple waveforms. There are plenty of them stored into the ROM, so if you are an advanced tweaker, you can create hundreds of good organ sounds in the PS60. I don´t habe the X50, but I guess that it has a similar sound engine inside.
