that's cool. I hope this is the only way we get to see a Kaoss product on an iPad.

I really cant stand the fact that Korg has been making all of these apps only work on iPad and not make dual plat form apps that work on android and PC.

What sucks with the KPro is the fact, that you can only save 4 bar loops to SD-card. You cannot play a cool solo over several bars and save it.
And you cannot build up complete songs from the loops.

no, the Kaoss pink cannot save anything at all. When you turn it off everything is gone to nirwana. It's like an instrument: You can play on it but cannot tape it.
That's why I use the iPad. The app MultiTrackDAW is a multitrack-audio-recording studio. So I can record the Kaoss pink and build up songs from the recorded loops using different tracks.

What app would be a good comparison for a PC?

From what it looks, I am doing this in a similar fashion.. I have the Pro going from the output to a 1/8" jack into the back of my PC... and I have a simple program called Cool Edit Pro 1.2a... not sure how to do multi-tracking on it..

Completely agree. Granted i always think hardware is better (more tactile, etc).

But the nice thing about this app is that it has a nice display that gives you the scale and synth program readout. And the ability to save your loops seems very fluid, not like the cumbersome loading from SD cards.

On the flip side it seems like you are limited to just four synth banks and one drum....based on this video i dont think you are allowed the unlimited layering you get from the other kaossilators
