PA3X available in EU, Kronos following soon maybe?

Post by spritz76 »

Hi,

I just received a newsletter from Woodbrass. Apparently it's the first shop in the EU with the new Korg arranger in stock.

I've also checked other EU stores (DV, MusicStore and Thomann) as well as US ones (Novamusik, Sweetwater) and no one else lists them as in stock.

Perhaps Kronos deliveries will follow soon? Well, I certainly hope so.

Not to mention that following the same pricing difference with the US, a K61 should cost around EUR 2599.

Cheers

I've been emailing back and forwards with A&C Hamilton about the Kronos, and on Saturday Keith said:

"We have seen the first of the Korg PA3X come in yesterday so hopefully Kronos is not far behind"

Not sure they're connected as the PA3X is designed and built in Italy, whereas the Kronos is from Japan

I believe first KRONOS to be seen by the public in the UK will be on 18th & 19th June in Bonners Music Superstore in Eastbourne.

More info here:

Shipping dates:

Korg UK expect to ship the 61 in July, and possibly a handful of the other models at the same time TBC.

There may be some lucky people who have already pre-ordered KRONOS 61 that receive theirs at the end of June, but this IS NOT CONFIRMED YET!

Apparently US buyers were told yesterday that they now won't get their Kronos until September. Will we really get ours earlier than the US, or are we about to be hit with a similar announcement?
