SCSIforSAMPLERS is no more. :(
Just went to www.scsiforsamplers.com and it now goes to www.MPCstuff.com.
Weird. No notice, no blowout, no nothing. I was JUST on the website January 10th - 2 days ago! I had left a message with J.D. a week or so ago looking for some parts and never heard back (which was odd). Now I know why.

McHale, I guess he was serious when he told me " We are not selling CF reader kits for the Korg Triton at this time"
jeesh. You're not kidding. He never even returned my phone call!

I'm Still Around!
Sorry, Mike, I didn't mean to snub you! I didn't receive your phone call. You should be able to reach me on that same number.McHale wrote:jeesh. You're not kidding. He never even returned my phone call!
Yes, we did recently sell out to MPCStuff.com. It got to a point where we simply could no longer get the inventory needed to build the SCSI Card Reader drives. Those SCSI Bridge cards have gotten very scarce unless you are willing to pay what I consider ridiculous prices ($150+).
But I'm still around and will be glad to help anyone with some advice or whatever they need to put together their own SCSI card drive. Just send me a PM and I will get back to you.
Re: I'm Still Around!
I didn't take it as a snub (it was a poor attempt at sarcasm). I thought the phone/business/everything was sold off and/or something happened to you. I posted a similar thread on HC and there are a bunch of people who are upset as well.scsiforsamplers wrote:Sorry, Mike, I didn't mean to snub you! I didn't receive your phone call. I'm glad to hear you're alive and well and it's good news that they bought you out. It's much better than folding. I sincerely hope you continue to perform similar services as they were valuable to many of us.
I suppose at worst you could build them one at a time (with the $150 cards) as needed with just higher prices. If nobody wants one, no harm no wasted inventory. If someone does, they pay, you buy what you need and turn it around.
