M3's screen legibility in bright sunlight

Post by Animal »

Hi!

Can anyone comment about the readability of the M3's display under bright sunlight? Is it possible to read it outside at live gigs in Summer without extra concentration or having to peep between your hands to see anything? And how about the viewing angle of the screen?

Thanks!

It is as most of backlight LCD screens - not very good at direct sunlight or even at stage hilight. The same applies to viewing angle - with proper tilt of M3 module it is more-less ok.

Enough for operation of gear but do not expect bright and crisp screens like you might have with LCD monitor, mobile/iPad/etc screens.
