Anyone else got a problem with the 88 key RH3 keyboard?
Hi, Has anyone else experienced a 'clicky type of noise' when pressing down some of the white weighted keys on the RH3? Not all the keys make a noise. The M3 88 is only 6 mths old. The keybed has just come back from a Korg warranty repair, and I got informed that I was just being a bit to picky, and that its just a problem to live with. Anyone else had a similar problem with the RH3 keybed? [/b]

On harder keystrokes the M3-88's chassis tends to vibrate and produces noise. The noise can be eliminated (or at least reduced significantly) byKorgyRadias wrote:Hi, Has anyone else experienced a 'clicky type of noise' when pressing down some of the white weighted keys on the RH3? (1) fixing the aluminium side parts with sellotape
(2) putting the M3-88 on a wooden plate so it stands on all its rubber feet

How about turning up the volume?! There is no noiseless keyboard (be it Korg or other brands).KorgyRadias wrote:Thx for your suggestions. The 'çlicky type of noise' is actually coming from under the white keys themselves when you strike them (volume off) and its not a vibration type of noise. I have the keyboard positioned solidly with all rubber feet on the desk.

The noise is not volume related, I can still hear the noisy keys when I play them whether the volume is up or not. It sounds like something is loose directly under the keys affected. The repair company that Korg uses in this area fobbed me off and said it was something I have got to live with and all keyboard keys become noisy over time (its only been approx 6 mths and I am a hobbyist)
