Question on bars!

Post by whiteleech »

Hey guys,

OK pretty new to the emx so i'll probably be on here a lot..

I'm trying to write a song with a verse of 11 bars. The bar lengths of notes are 2, 3, 2, 4 (e.g. a# for 2 bars, then g for 3 etc..)

Because each pattern can only hold 8 bars - what's the best way to write this verse? All the notes need to be smoothly linked. Should i do it over 2 patterns and split the verse up?

Any suggestions?!

Cheers!

Don't have an EMX but can it do songs like the ER/EA/ES-1s?

Have the first part of a song with 8 bars then a second part which is 3 bars. Then play the song which will play the first and then second parts sequentially, then go back to beginning and repeat (if you want) or stop at the end of the 11th bar (if that's what you want).
