Nowere left to turn
Im surprised no one as any answers to my problem.
So im asking once again just incase someone can help before i sell it.
I love this synth But my problem is now getting me down.
I got the radias to be the center of my live setup but im still having hanging notes over midi.
I run whatever Master( clock on) i use to the midi in on the radias ( Auto or ext)I have it set like this so when i play some arps or lead keys stay in time . but i find somtimes there slightly of the beat (key sync on)or if i play lead line it comes in late or not play at all but the most frustrating part is the note that continues to play even when you have taken your hand from the keyboard .My master is not even telling the radias to play anything there just locke together and me playing over the top and im still getting stuck notes.
Canyou help ? I have tried elsewere nothing .
Please
Franny

The arpeggiator implementation is a bit off and I've had problems with it before but it hasn't bothered me recently.
when using Key Sync then the arp will be off if you hit the key early or late, but I tend to find I use Key Sync and just hope that I hit it on time - if you are a good keyboard player you will.
Key Sync off will have it sync perfectly to the beat, but that means you actually have to hit the note on the beat, otherwise it will wait until the next tick to start it.
I don't recall having this problem with other synthesizers. I believe the generally accepted solution for when not having Key Sync on would be to have the arpeggiator start immediately if you hit it slightly late. My KARMA workstation does this and I've found myself using that instead for triggering arps and sequences, it is a lot more versatile for that anyway, but I digress...
I've never had problems with 'stuck' notes, so there must be something wrong with your cabling or perhaps your master keyboard - if note off messages aren't getting through, or it is skipping clock messages. I don't know about that.
I did have problems with sustained notes being cut short - that is down to using an older master keyboard that doesn't send active sensing messages - the Radias (or any KORG module I've used) will cut off the notes every now and again because it isn't receiving active sensing, thus believing that the MIDI cable may have been disconnected.

Hi X Trade,
Have just got the radias and i am facing almost the same problem.
I am not running any arp patch, tried it with a normal saw lead but a few keys (Higher F#, G, E) either do not produce any sound or produce a sound that do not go off (stuck?) even though i have release the key.
Was wondering if it could be due to the cable connecting the master keyboard to the radias unit, but it will only affect persistently those few notes thus it might not be the case.
Will contact korg service centre but as radias have stop production and this unit is not under warranty, not sure if they would do it.
1. Notes that dont will sound or release via MIDI
2. Keys that won't function well (no sound or release)
To issue 1: Depending on your DAW and how you routed your setup you may have a MIDI loop. This is usually when you have selected the MIDI channel you are recording to send out MIDI (needed for playback of course). In this case you will hear a slight phasing or unison effect depending on what sound you have when you play the KB. It comes because what you play in the KB is sent to the radias sound engine as well to your DAW. Your DAW send it back to the radias and the sound engine plays them again. This, first of all halves the polyphony.
If adding to this you are playing a recorded MIDI sequence on that channel, it may be that you enter in two possible problems: No more timbres available or missing note on/off messages due the same notes being triggered repeatedly with short intervals. (every microcontroller has his limits)
To issue 2: This probably is a problem with the keyboard. If the keys having problems are adjacent or each eigtht or fourth key doesn't work well, it may be a faulty connector or broken signal path in the keyboard. Normally they are connected in a matrix and if one of this lines fails then a block of keys won't work.
I would recommend to first try to isolate what kind of problem you have. I think nene's problem is a keyboard one.
I am not using any DAW at the moment. Just the radias and the KB.
Highly suspect that it is the connector though as in my desperation yesterday, i have fiddle with the connector from KB to Radias and all the key seems to be working. Maybe i need to purchase a new connector cable to test it out.
