Hey everyone.
I was just wondering if you can connect the MK XL to the EMX? i presume if you can it would be threw midi. If i connected the two, would i be able to play something on the MK and then would that bit that i played, go straight into the emx, and from there i can make a song?
any help would be much apriciated.

You can connect nearly any electronic audio device with a line level audio output to the EMX, including the MKXL, but the EMX can't do anything with the audio besides mix it with it's own sounds or add effects to the external audio. Midi is not for connecting the audio of one device to another. Midi only lets you have one piece of midi music gear control or be controlled by another piece of music gear, and this control information can be recorded, edited, and played back via midi connections, but none of the audio that results from this control data is sent over midi: that must be done through audio hookups.
