Error Reading Operating System

Hello All
When i Switch on the Korg PA 800 , i get this message on a blank screen

" Error Reading OS "

will formating and restoring ht OS as per the guidelines mentioned on korgpa.com solve this problem ?

Please help me urgently as i have a show coming up

I hope a full reset and OS installation will solve your problem - it is certainly the first thing I would try.

well havent been able to do anything with the reset and format

now the screen is just flickering and nothing comes on the screen when the power is on.

I guess some kind of electrical failure or something ..

lets see... i ll ask some repair shop to see this thing and just pray that somehow the keyboard works again

I had the same problem and it turned out to be a cpu board problem.
