New to Music

I just bought the M50-88 last Wednesday and got it in the mail the next day. So here's the thing.

I don't know how to play a piano, or any instrument for that matter. I don't know how to read sheet music, and until last week you could have convinced me there was an H Key.

I'm a 3rd year university student studying Political Science, but this fall I am taking African Drumming and Private 1 on 1 Music Instruction for Piano. I guess I plan on getting into this head-on and wanted to invest myself financially so I keep at it.

My favorite music styles that make me want to learn Piano (esp. keyboard for the Strings \ progression to other instruments) are: 70's light rock (The Eagles, Jackson Browne, James Taylor), country music (Garth Brooks, Jimmy Buffet, Jeron and the Long Road to Love) and Soundtrack Scores (Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, etc).
