NanoKontrol. Logic, setting up CCs

Post by Barbarossa »

hello,

i just got nanokontrol and i have a hard time figuring this thing out.

the basic settings seem to work ok. but if i change something in the kontrol editor and write the data to the nanokontrol nothing happens afterwards.

i would really appreciate if someone could give me a step by step instruction on how to set one of the knobs to control cc83 on the currently selected channel strip, which would be an instrument channel strip with a kontakt instance.

i seem to have hit a wall. how do i do this? if nanokontrol does not do the job, can i do it in the environment, and if yes, how?

thanks in advance for any help!

well... i figured it out. in case anyone is interested:

the plugin that is offered on the korg site has to be removed/avoided. instead just setting your things in the kontrol editor will work.
i wonder what this plugin is actually for...?

in order to get the transport buttons working you have to enable "listening to MMC input" in the logic synchronization preferences.

So after removing the stuff you dont need all you do is use the editor and then save the scene setting from the drop down menu?
I was also haveing a problem with the buttons lights not staying on when using them as mute and solo when logic is up and running. They do mute and solo in Logic but the lights are just not on as I would like them to be. When I use the editor with out Logic running they light up when pushed in toggle mode. Just wondering if you might know what was making this happen any help would be great thanks in advance
