NEWB: kp3 for sound design- how to disable delays/loops?

Post by 2beep »

I'm trying to use a kp3 for its filters and effects on a line input for individual sound effects, but the delays that I can't seem to disable just muck everything up. I can slow their spacing down by lowering the bpm as low as it can go but really I'd just like to get rid of it altogether. is there a way? very likely a stupid question, apologies in advance!

This comes up quite often. Really if you had read the manual or even just bothered looking at the first page of the forum you wouldn't need to ask.

for example, just yesterday:

The 'delays' you are referring to are called 'FX Release' and are designed to smooth the transition between effected and dry sounds. You can however turn them down or even off completely.
