Hi all
When I want to record something from my m50 on pc, the sound that I get from my nuendo 3 software, is quite over that I have to pull down the volume of m50 itself to it's lowest point. I should mention that my sound card is an internal M-Audio delta 1010LT. and as it's a studio card I'm quite amazed why this happens, and the quality of sounds that I receive from sound card seems to be lower from what I hear while connecting the m50 directly to amp. I use the same sound card for recording vocals & electronic guitars with no problem.
as my job is recording and making songs not playing keyboard, it;s necessary for me to find out how I can record things straight on my pc while playing with high quality.
Please help.
Problems while recording on pc, please help!

The Delta 1010LT comes with its own software mixer. There is an option to adjust the input impedence level from +4dB to -10dB. This will mitigate the problem somewhat. Also, go into the mixer screen and adjust the input level of the channel(s) containing the M50's incoming signal. This will give you additional control over the levels and you'll be able to achieve proper gain staging by balancing the slider on the M50 and the levels in the Delta's software. I don't have the Delta software in front of me. But, you should be able to accomplish this easily enough.

Thanks for the answer, I've already done that with the mixer, +4db sounds better that other but not fine, I can only raise the volume of keyboard to 10 if total is 100. more than that the sound becomes damaged no matter how low I turn the pc input in mixer. and apart from volume problem, there's hiss sound and noise sound as well, which when I move the soundcard jack where it's connected to the cable the noise sounds goes off, only to re-appear later, and the hiss sound is always there, not that much, but there is. to find where the problem is I tried same cable and jack with the guitar & effect, the result was that the sensitivity of the connection jack was less, the was no such noise, but the hiss(kind of sound of air) was still there. with the guitar as well, I should set the volume of effect to under 10 for good sound. my biggest problem is that noise now that I only have it with the keyboard, and strangely at the same time it goes on and off when I move the jack. should I use any cables more special that guitar cables?Ajbbklyn wrote:The Delta 1010LT comes with its own software mixer.
