You can do that. I had the same request, but nobody helped me, so i figure it out by myself. Go to your X50 editor, then select a program and go to
Amp 1/2 category. Then go to Amp 1Mod. and under Amp Mod. set Vel. Intensity to 0. Go to Amp 2 Mod. and do the same thing. Velocity is so turned off!
You would here some change in the sound if you press harder, but this is not velocity. The main sound will play fine, but some extra things are still connected to how hard you play. I'm trying to figure that out also

well, it is velocity - velocity refers to a parameter derived by how hard you play the keys - that doesn't have to necessarily be volume!guitarlegend wrote: Amp 1/2 category. there may also be velocity routings to filter cutoff, resonance, and there will also be velocity switching settings in the OSC1 and OSC2 pages (where you set a high and low multisample. in the top right corner there is an option to change the velocity level (between 0 and 127) where it switches from the low to the high multisample.
of course when I talk about edit pages i'm talking about when editing on the keyboard (because I use a TR which doesn't come with an editor), the control locations and layout will be different in the editor.
