Hi everyone, I'm using an ESX with a Korg Radias, and I'm having difficulty navigating through the on-screen menu, and getting the ESX to do what I want it to. The Radias' screen, particularly for the step sequencer actually shows you which notes are where.

I bought it 2nd hand, so I'm not sure if it's faulty, or I'm crap, but I can't erase parts from a pattern despite following the manual.

I also can't find sequence parts to change note numbers, velocity, note duration etc, so I can play melodies etc.

Anyway, i hope someone can spare a few moments and point me in the right direction before I sell the damn thing and go back to an MPC unit

Two quick things:

Make sure you're not in keyboard mode, select a part, then turn the step keys on or off...

To edit note numbers, length of note, etc, go to step edit on the menu and go down to the note number and change it for each step key that is lit. Velocity is pretty much a volume/accent thing.
