Hi....I've searched past posts and could'nt find anything on whether there were any pre-set drum fills for any given drum patterns. Maybe with the arpeggiator? I know that a lot of patterns have a fill after a certain number of beats or measures. I'm also aware that I can create my own. But the drum patterns are so good, that my own programmed fills would'nt come close to the quality of ones already on this awesome board!
Any advice would be appreciated.
thanks...dean...
Are there any pre-set drum "fills"?

You can program your own fills using RPPR. Just recently, Richard from Korg uploaded a brand new video on Youtube regarding RPPR. You got to check it out.
Although, I haven't heard they come preloaded with sequences.

That's not what he is asking for, RPPR has nothing to do with his needs.
He clearly stated, and I quote:"...But the drum patterns are so good, that my own programmed fills would'nt come close to the quality of ones already on this awesome board! ..."
To the OP: yes, difficult to create fills to match some of the included drum patterns, you got to seek help from a drummer for that if you want to create something original, punchy and not boring kind of fills/breaks. (Porcaro is on my mind right now)

Well kike, patterns are just that. Repeating patterns. He's asking for fills, or pattern mods. Other than playing them manually, I believe the best way to automate a few fills for a give pattern is via RPPR, and triggering them with a key when the time is right. And they don't come preloaded.
Am I right or is there a better way I don't know of?

Thank you both for your quick response! I will look into the RPPR method. I also play with a few drummers who I'm sure would be happy to come and program a few different standard type fills for me to put into a user pattern. Although I still have a long way to go to figure out how to get the most out of my M50, I'm having a BLAST learning it! This thing is "OFF THE HOOK"!
Thanks again...dean...

Welcome, dude, and very interesting questión. I would have done it four months ago, but I understood that the only way to make fills is using RPRN method. In this case, I own a MIDI library with hundreds of fills and intros. I imported them and converted into patterns. It´s the best way I´ve found. Take a look at MIDI files. There are many of them in internet.
100% hardware made. All is done in a Korg M50 internal sequencer. Now updated (7/09/12) at http://www.hispasonic.com/akmon
