Help with effects in combi creation

I am creating combi's with various splits but I cannot figure out how to have different effects for each program sounds that I use to create the combi. It always seems to affect all sounds across the keyboard - I am sure the M50 can allocate different effects to each of the programs in the combi but I cannot work this out from the manual.

Can anyone help please?

Route the parts to different effects (IFXs). In the P8-1 page, route part one to IFX1, part 2 to IFX2 etc. This will make part 1 use IFX1 and part 2 use IFX2.
