Hi guys,
I know some of you guys use cubase for sequencing. At the moment all my recordings are done in one midi channel.
I would like to have each part of the style recorded on individual midi tracks so I can edit them. What is the best way to set up in cabase. I know this has been asked but so far I have not found a real solution for this. If someone can do a step by step tutorial that would be very helpful to a lot of us.
Also if you are in the Orange County California area. I would love to pay you to help me with this problem.
Thanks in advance guys.

Dear friend.
When you record in Cubase from Pa800 in style mode you take a Midi track type0 with all the midi channels used from the style in it.
If you want to have each midi channel to separate tracks as midi files type 1 for editing in your project ...
Select the part and go to Menu->MIDI->Dissolve part
Now you have the following parts with different midi channels
Midi Channel 9 Bass
Midi Channel 10 Drums
Midi Channel 11 Percussion
Midi Channel 12 ACC1
Midi Channel 13 ACC2
Midi Channel 14 ACC3
Midi Channel 15 ACC4
Midi Channel 16 ACC5
To midi channels 12-16 you have any instrument that used for the style like piano, strings, Guitars etc
Now you can delete the first part that is muted.
Good luck
Sorry for my poor English I hope you understand[/b]

In style mode all midi informations from the style goes to Cubase.
When you work in sequencer mode select external sequencer.
I dont use it because dosn't synch every bit.I use metronome.A.K. wrote:Also on Cubase side do you use midi clock? Thanks again.
I set the same tempo and time signature for Cubase and Pa 800 and when i finish rec I select all midi notes in track editor and move them to the start of the measure.
