Just to add to Rob's comment here. I have found that by recording the song to midi, I can load the same song into both the sequencer's and by pressing both buttons simultaneously I can then Record to mp3 the doubled song. The posibility here being that you can copy the original midi and change some of the parameters, voices etc on the keyboard and then 'Blend' them in together via the mp3 record. I realise that it can only be done in that way if mp3 capability is on the keyboard. It can however be done as accompaniment using the 2 sequencers and the 2 [modified] midi's and then recorded via line outs to pc. Hope that makes sense and just having a 'play' here... It could be useful if like me you don't use sequencer software like Sonar on the pc. There is also the problem of availability of .ins files that suit your particular keyboard.....Just thinking out loud here.Rob Sherratt wrote:Hi Jeff, and hello from me as well,Jeff van Spaendonk wrote:Thank you very much, K for your reply.
Does that mean both sequencers can operate ( play/record ) separately ?
Best wishes, Jeff / The Netherlands
In Song Play (Playback) mode both Player 1 and Player 2 can each play back either a MIDI file or an MP3 file. They are two independent players. You can start them both at the same time if you wish and by having the fader set to center position you will hear an equal volume from both together.
